My recent blog about book festivals was popular, so I thought I’d share with you a round-up of other events (with book-ish elements) I think you might like.
Colne Engaine Festival – 4-5 June
It is festival season, and I’ve shared lots of book festivals already, but there are other festivals going on, including this one in Colne Engaine, Essex. It has so much for visitors – 3 evening events (get your tickets here!) and 2 family fun days. The family days are free to enter on 4 & 5 June and include a story-telling tent – I’ll be there 2-3pm on 5 June. Come and join me for a fun and interactive story session.

A Vintage Day Out – 3 July & 10 July
Two exciting events in Suffolk and Essex hosted by (and to raise funds for) Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. The event in Essex on 10 July has been a successful and fun day out for a number of years, and this year Helen Rollason have added a new date: 3 July and venue: Ipswich. There is so much going on at A Vintage Day Out: vintage cars, dancing and singing, food and drink plus children’s entertainment (I’ll be there with a special Lum story-time and craft activity). Book your tickets here.
Little Legs Festival – 15-17 June
I’m very excited to be a part of Little Legs this year. A Festival just for pre-schoolers and their parents/carers. Get your tickets here and once inside the gates, you and your littles can enjoy an abundance of fun activities – including story-time with me!

To see all the events I’m attending this summer, please take a look at the Events page.
